Fire safety: what would you do or your staff do if there is a fire?

All businesses need to assess: what would you do or your staff do if there is a fire?

They may have fire extinguishers, emergency lighting or an alarm system, this is all ineffective if they are not regularly testing the systems or ensuring staff training to ensure they all will work the one time when or if a fire starts.

Many businesses could and should be doing more to protect staff and it would only take minutes per month to complete.

The appointed person has many responsibilities and must understand them as they will be liable.

Remember fire kills.
